It's amazing how the GOP loves to twist a question by either answering with the demagoguery of a non sequitur questions or with a polemic answer.
The GOP's other favorite tactics are:
* Apples and Orange answer/question,
* Half-Truths - John McCain loves using this tactic!
* False Authority,
* Polemic comparisons,
* Straw Man,
* Loaded questions.
Yeah, after 8 years of this malarkey, the party is over! The GOP has failed completely! Just look at the stock market for proof! Or the Housing Market collapse... Or or or...
